Well we finally arrived at the home of Mike's Mom and as we were talking with her and letting Sandy stretch her legs we heard a rustling in the trees and out pops a deer.
Deer up here like this one are used to people around Two Harbors, so it had no problem that Mike was just standing ten feet away and that Sandy did get excited I had to put her in the car for a bit while taking these photos.
Last month she was out of film in her older camera when one of the Momma deers had laid down just outside her bedroom window and gave birth to a healthy looking fawn. So Mike's Mom was out there taking photos as well with her new
Canon A1000 camera she bought.
After this young one moseyed on, so we went inside and caught up with what has been happening up here.
